The TenthAnnual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Money Brokers Association was held on Tuesday 25th June, 2019 at 5.15 p.m at NCC, Colombo following Office Bearers and Directors were elected :

• Mr. Chandika Liyanage of Vishwin Money and Exchange Brokers Ltd was elected as President.
• Mr. Susantha Karunarathne of Central forex and Money Brokers Ltd was elected as Vice President.
• Mr. Buddhika Karunathilaka of Bartleet Mecklai & Roy (Private) Ltd was elected as Treasurer.

The following directors were unanimously re-elected to the Board :

• Mr. Buddhika Karunathilaka of Bartleet Mecklai & Roy (Private) Ltd,
• Mr. Stuart Young of Piggot Chapman And Company,
• Mr. Susantha Karunarathne/ Alternate Mr. Nirosha Geeganage of Central Forex and Money Brokers Ltd,
• Mr. Senaka Udugama / Alternate Mr. Vajira Nugegoda of SMB Money Brokers (Pvt) Ltd,
• Mr. Sudath de Silva of Geroge Steuarts Investments (Pvt) Ltd,
• Mr. Channa Mapagunaratne/ Alternate Mr. Ishak Farook of First Alliance Money Brokers (Pvt) Ltd,
• Mr. Chandika Liyanage of Vishwin Money and Exchange Brokers Ltd,
• Mr. Faazal Huzair of MVS Money Brokers Ltd,
• Mr. Nishantha Jayasooriya of Taprobane Investments (Pvt) Ltd,

Dear Member / Business Partners

It is with great pleasure that I take on the leadership as the President of the Sri Lanka Money Brokers Association.
It may look a “Daunting” task hence the focus would be absolute professionalism and would take every step & measures to lead the Association to bring back the glory once shared by the members as well as the business partners.
Mutual benefits may be reaped by both the “Banker & the Broker” whilst striving towards achieving standards in “Ethics& Professionalism” in the industry.

Whilst thanking all member firms in laying their trust and faith in appointing me as the president and would vouch to uphold my duties to the best of my ability and preserve the integrity of the Si Lanka Money Brokers Association.
